Adobe’s $20 billion mega-bid to buy rival Figma is now officially dead after the companies said this week that regulatory pushback in Europe caused them to end their acquisition plans. First announced in September last year, the deal was always going to attract regulatory scrutiny due to the size of the transaction and the fact that it took one of Adobe’s major rivals out of the picture.

Comcast has confirmed that hackers exploiting a critical-rated security vulnerability accessed the sensitive information of almost 36 million Xfinity customers. The vulnerability, known as “CitrixBleed,” is found in Citrix networking devices often used by big corporations and has been under mass exploitation by malicious actors since August

Sony’s PlayStation 5 has surpassed 50 million units in lifetime sales, marking a significant milestone. The console’s performance during the Black Friday period has reassured Sony about meeting its sales target of 25 million units in the current financial year ending on March 31. Despite initial concerns about weaker-than-expected sales, the console’s momentum in November and December has reassured Sony about meeting its ambitious sales target. Sony’s focus on live-service titles and a push into online play has helped the console’s improved performance. The PS5’s resurgence in sales is part of a broader market recovery, with the console market expected to rebound by 7 point 2% this year, reaching 60 point 9 billion dollars.
