Cold wave hits India
In the North of India people shiver under the grip of cold wave.

Northern India is currently going through a very cold season with temperatures dropped below -5°C (23°F). The cold weather has covered many places like the capital during both morning and night times with a heavy fog.
The fog has resulted in a difficult view causing problems with both airplane and train services, making it hard for people to get around.
India’s weather department announced the cold wave is likely to continue for a few more days.
Affected areas include parts of Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. East India and Central India are expected to experience no significant change in minimum temperature and a rise in minimum temperature respectively.
