Qatar Airways wins two prestigious awards at Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2023
Qatar Airways has recently been recognised for its exceptional commitment to providing passengers with the highest level of service. The airline was awarded two prestigious titles at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2023, held during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.
The awards, ‘Airline with the Best Business Class’ and ‘Best Regional Airline Serving the Middle East,’ were voted for by readers of the industry magazine’s regional edition. These awards recognise Qatar Airways’ dedication to providing exceptional in-flight experiences to its passengers.
Marwan Koleilat, the Senior Vice President Eastern Regions at Qatar Airways, accepted the awards on behalf of the airline. The ceremony was attended by distinguished industry leaders, aviation professionals, and global media representatives.
Koleilat expressed his gratitude by saying, “We are honoured to receive these awards, which recognise the dedication of our entire team to providing the finest possible in-flight experience. We are committed to going above and beyond for our passengers and setting new standards for the airline industry. As a part of the Arabian Travel Market, visitors to the Qatar Airways stand in Hall 1, stand ME1210, had the opportunity to experience the Qsuite via Qverse technology. The stand showcased the comfort, entertainment, and hospitality offered on board all Qatar Airways flights.

In addition to Qatar Airways’ success, two other hotels in Qatar were recognised at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2023. Raffles Doha which opened in 2022 and quickly established itself as a top destination for business travellers, with its elegant and sophisticated design, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, and luxurious accommodation, was awarded the title of ‘Best New Business Hotel in the Middle East’. Fairmont Doha that has long been a favourite among business travellers, thanks to its prime location in the heart of the city, world-class business facilities, and impeccable service, was awarded the title of ‘Best Business Hotel in Qatar.’ These awards demonstrate that both Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha are leaders in the hospitality industry, providing their guests with exceptional experiences and setting the standard for business hotels in Qatar and the Middle East.
