Deliveroo Qatar has recently launched the ‘Full Life’ campaign, in cooperation with Qatar Charity, with the objective of supporting local communities across the country. The campaign introduces a straightforward round-up option at checkout in the Deliveroo app, allowing customers to make donations with ease. This effort is an extension of Deliveroo’s global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, originally implemented in the UK in 2021 to address food insecurity.

By simply rounding up their bill with a single click when ordering through the Deliveroo app, customers can contribute a small donation to Qatar Charity without having to visit a separate restaurant page.

Ahmed Yousef Fakhro, Assistant CEO for Resources Development and Media Sector at Qatar Charity, shared his thoughts on the collaboration. He highlighted that the round-up feature on the Deliveroo app provides an accessible method for customers in Qatar to support those those in need or with low incomes. Fakhro expressed his pride in being Deliveroo’s first charity partner in Qatar and emphasised the significance of assisting vulnerable communities and making a real difference on a global scale.

Moreover, Fakhro encouraged businesses and commercial organisations to follow Deliveroo’s lead and collaborate with Qatar Charity, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan, in order to aid low-income families and workers in Qatar.

Keshav Jayant, Country Manager of Deliveroo Qatar, expressed his gratitude to Qatar Charity for their collaboration in launching the ‘Full Life’ Campaign in Qatar. He emphasised that giving back has always been at the core of Deliveroo’s values, and the company is both delighted and honoured to serve the local community in Qatar. Deliveroo’s technology has allowed them to use their platform to make a positive difference in the communities they serve as the ‘Full Life’ campaign has already experienced considerable success in other global markets.

Customers who wish to participate in the ‘Full Life’ campaign and support those in need can easily contribute by donating at the checkout through the Deliveroo app.
