Here’s how to safeguard your privacy in only a few minutes.

1. Check Your Camera for Infrared Light

A lot of hidden cameras employ infrared (IR) light, which is observable by a phone camera but undetectable to the human eye.

Switch the room’s lights off.

Launch the camera on your smartphone. The front-facing camera should be used because certain back cameras have infrared filters.

Keep an eye out for tiny, glowing dots. It might be a hidden camera if you move your phone around and notice a pulsing light.

2. Scan the Wi-Fi Network with Your Phone
