Microsoft’s Copilot app can now be downloaded on iOS

Shortly after releasing the Copilot app for Android, Microsoft has now launched an AI chatbot app on both iOS and iPadOS. The Apple App Store contains both versions of this new app for download.

With the app, you can utilize Microsoft Copilot (previously known as Bing Chat) in a similar fashion to OpenAI’s ChatGPT on your phone. Aside from being able to inquire, compose emails, and condense text, the app also allows you to generate images using DALL-E3, a text-to-image converter that is integrated within it.

In contrast to the free iteration of ChatGPT that utilizes GPT-3.5, Copilot grants you access to the newest large language model (LLM), GPT-4 from OpenAI, without requiring a subscription fee.

Microsoft has rebranded Bing Chat as Copilot, signaling a shift towards a standalone experience akin to ChatGPT. In addition to releasing mobile apps for Android and Apple devices, Microsoft has also developed a separate web experience for Copilot, distinct from Bing.
