Qatar’s great shift
International Labour Organization’s (ILO) new report shows how Qatar’s labour market has evolved and that the country has seen “the great shift” in recent years with legislation to reform the workplace.
The report covers the period from November 2021 to October 2022, and it sorts out the progress made based on four priorities of the organization’s program: the labor market and labour migration management, labor law enforcement and access to justice, workers’ voice and social dialogue, international cooperation and exchange of experiences.
