The details of the agreement were not revealed; however, French media outlets indicated that the 27-year-old defender has officially committed to a four-year contract with Al-Arabi following a transfer fee of 15 million euros ($16.35 million). To date, Diallo has won two Ligue 1 championships, two French Cups, and a League Cup.

He started his football journey through the ranks of AS Monaco, making his debut in 2014 and securing a Ligue 1 title in 2017. He is transitioning to the Qatar Stars League after participating in 75 matches across various competitions for PSG, having arrived in 2019 from Borussia Dortmund, following a spell at fellow Bundesliga club Mainz 05.

Having spent the previous season on loan at RB Leipzig, Diallo contributed to their German Cup victory, making 15 appearances and netting one goal. The France-born player, formerly captain of the under-21 national team, has earned 23 caps for Senegal and was instrumental in their victory at the 2021 African Cup of Nations, in addition to his presence in the previous year’s World Cup.
