The launch of the game AI League on iOS has been announced, a landmark event for football enthusiasts and AI aficionados alike. Following its successful open beta release on Android, which raked in over 50,000 downloads in the first three months, this unique “smart football” game is set to cause a stir in the mobile gaming industry.

Powered by the Altered State Machine, a cutting-edge metaverse artificial intelligence protocol, AI League is a collaborative venture with FIFA. This partnership signifies a substantial leap forward for AI-driven games, as players assume the roles of both coach and owner of their own AI football team.

AI League’s open beta initially went live in April on Android, following a user experience launched for the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar. This AI-powered football strategy game underwent extensive testing and quality assurance phases, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response for its high-quality app, immersive gameplay, and entertainment value. Its debut on iOS aligns with the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup™, coinciding with a branding update themed for the tournament, taking place this year in Australia and New Zealand, the home ground for Futureverse, the game’s creators.

AI League is a 4-on-4 casual football game where players take control of multiple AI-controlled characters at fun and tactical intervals. Each AI footballer possesses unique AI traits that outline their strengths and weaknesses, allowing players to hone their strategic skills.

This year, the AI League’s FIFA Women’s World Cup™ 2023 season runs parallel to the main game. It offers time-limited gameplay and a separate leaderboard. Beyond the game’s original playgrounds situated in stylized streetball locations worldwide – from Paris to Rio, Yaoundé to Seoul – the new rebrand introduces arenas and outfit items specific to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™. This innovation promises an elevated overall player experience.

Speaking on the launch, Shara Senderoff, Co-Founder of Futureverse, said, “As a female founder, it’s incredibly exciting to have the opportunity to align our technology with the prolific growth of women’s football. We received an overwhelmingly positive response to the Open Beta launch of AI League, and we’re thrilled to bring the game to iOS alongside the FIFA Women’s World Cup™. We see our cooperation with FIFA and the creation of AI League as a revolutionary moment for casual AI sports games.”
