It is a new year and 2024 is pregnant with just the best. Gamers definitely can’t stay calm for the release of  “Skull and Bones”, “The Last of Us” and “Neva” among others in 2024. Flock

“Flock” is a magical display of colourful flying creatures. It promises to be exciting and relaxing as it opens you up to the journey of conquering and gathering gems and items with the colourful flying birds behind your PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Its release date is not available but you could catch it in the early days of Spring! “Flock” was developed by Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg but would be published by Annapurna Interactive.

Neva

Nomanda Studio, a video game developer in Barcelona will release “Neva” on a yet-to-be-communicated date in 2024. The trailer of “Neva” depicts the emotion-packed life of a young woman who struggles to survive with her longtime friend, a wolf in a deadly world. If you enjoyed “GRIS” in 2018, you definitely will fall in love with “Neva” created by the same developers. “Neva” will be available to play on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S.

Skull and Bones

“Skull and Bones”, just as the name implies is an action-adventure series. Initially stated to be released on February 13, 2024, the game will be published for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Microsoft Windows. The video game is developed by Ubisoft Singapore and will be published by Ubisoft.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered

If you were unsatisfied with “The Last of Us Part II” in 2020, you have a remake which will answer the twisted plots and unanswered questions in the final part of the 2020 video game. “The Last of Us Part II Remastered” continues HBO’s nerve-racking apocalypse theme. Interestingly, there is an upgrade in how gamers can uninterruptedly enjoy the series. It will be released on January 19 and published on PlayStation 5.

Unicorn Overlord

The creators of “Aegis Rim” and “Odin Sphere”, Vanillaware presents a new representation of overworld fantasies. It is set to be released on March 8, 2024. “Unicorn Overlord” will be published for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S by Atlus in Japan.

Mario versus Donkey Kong

The memory-bonding Mario series is coming back in 2024! It comes with a merger you didn’t know you needed. For the Nintendo Switch, the Mario and Donkey franchises decided to make a comeback together. It is expected to be released on February 16.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

“Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth” is a sequel to “Final Fantasy 7 Remake”. It is expected to be released on Leap Day, February 29. Although it will be exclusive to PlayStation 5, it could be available on other platforms after May 29, 2024. It is interesting to note that the “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth” is about double the length of “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” which was 30 to 40 hours long. Developers, Square Enix and Creative Business Unit 1 have described Final Fantasy 7 as a “multifaceted world with a high degree of freedom”.

Harold Halibut

The “Harold Halibut” series explores the life of a man who is on a mission to define what “home” really is after 250 years of experiencing his house, an ark-like spaceship escape the Earth for another planet. This is a tear-jerking series. Make sure you have a box of tissues on the side. It was developed by Slow Bros and its release date is yet-to-be-communicated.
